Congratulations to Luke Malčić who is the overall competition winner with a record score of 1,155. The Marc Andrew Memorial Trophy will be awarded at tonight's presentation dinner.

Junior (U18) Amy-Jane Mealing shot consistently well to win Air Rifle Class B with an aggregate score of 1,083. Amy-Jane will be awarded the Cobo Open Junior Trophy.

Veterans Alan Batiste and John Mechem shot mostly at the same level except for Alan's higher score in the first aggregate which allowed him to take first place in Class C.

In the 6 Yard class Charlotte Bertrand shot above her average to steal the win from Poppy Bowen. Ed Heathcote, a new competitor from Cobo ARC achieved 3rd position.

In the Air Pistol category, the favourite to win the overall trophy was Jack Hance and he didn't disappoint, topping class A with his now-familiar aggregate score of 1,112. This year saw a return to the competition by Tara Leighton-Dyson and she demonstrated very good form just trailing Jack by 6 points overall to come in in second place.

Pistol Class B saw some very close competition. Lord De Saumarez kept a steady hand to keep ahead of Cobo's Richard Mechem. The duo finished in 1st and second place respectively. Andy Brown won the bronze meal by just 1 point ahead of fellow Guernsey Air Pistol Club member Rebecca Margetts.

Class C pistol included pistol shooters new to the discipline including 15-year-old Ella Mealing. Pierre Goubert, normally a small-bore rifle shooter came out on top ahead of Cobo's JP Duquemin. Ella finished in 3rd position - a great achievement given that this was an aggregate competition consisting of two 60-shot matches each lasting anywhere between 1 and 1.5 hours.

Well done to all competitors and many thanks to everyone who helped run the event. John Mechem was a main-stay as usual, preparing scorecards and attending all details throughout the week.
